We are excited to share Filipino food with you!  Our company, Dely’s Lumpias, is named after my mother, Magdalena Santos Maslog, who emigrated to the United States from the Philippines in 1969.  A smiling, charismatic, and caring person to everyone she touched, my mother was known by her nickname, Dely.

  • Lumpia

    Lumpias

    Lumpias is an everyday staple and one of the most famous foods from the Philippines. The Lumpia, known as the Filipino eggroll by many Americans was introduced to the Philippines during the pre-colonial years between 900 and 1565 AD by the Hokkien immigrants and Fujian traders from Southeastern China. There are wide varieties of Filipino Lumpias, we have the choices of beef, pork, turkey, and veggie lumpia.

  • Adobo

    Adobo

    The famous Filipino dish known as adobo is a comfort food that is made in every household. Derived by the Spaniards in the late 16th century, many Filipinos has different variety in cooking their adobo dishes, depending on the region they live and their family ingredients that they used. Mostly the ingredients in making this delicious salty, sour dish are bay leaves, vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, peppercorns, chicken and/or pork.

  • Pancit noodles

    Pancit Noodles

    My mom and dad always served Pancit Noodles on our birthdays because of the belief that the long noodles symbolize a long life. Derived from Southeast China, this delicious special-occasion dish is made from Canton Noodle (flour noodle) or Bihon Noodle (rice noodle), or a combination of both, together with chicken, shrimp, pork, or beef with mixed vegetables.

My daughter Charlotte and I are excited to share Filipino food with you!  Our company, Dely’s Lumpias, is named after my mother, Magdalena Santos Maslog, who emigrated to the United States from the Philippines in 1969.  A smiling, charismatic, and caring person to everyone she touched, my mother was known by her nickname, Dely. 

I am Paulito Maslog, a Filipino American born in the District of Columbia.  As I grew up in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) areas, I embraced both the American and Filipino cultures.   Because food is the pathway to appreciate culture, I shared my knowledge of preparing Filipino food with Charlotte who is both American Filipino and Peruvian. 

 And now it is our pleasure to bring the richness and beauty of Filipino culture to you through our great food, starting with lumpias, our famous Filipino spring rolls.  We appreciate your support and hope you enjoy the Filipino food that my daughter and I make with love and happiness.
